i received a reply back that my text had been posted to the
          listserv, which i have subscribed to.  however, i don't
          receive a copy of the text i submitted in my own personal
          e-mail inbox.  why not?
          of course i have a copy of the text.  i'd like to see it
          sent back to me just to confirm that it really did, indeed,
          get posted.
