The Swienty rep at the EAS conference in New Jersey stated that the
CO2 knocks out the varroa as well as the bees, allowing them to be
dislodged by shaking into count area.. Disposal of the live mites
needs consideration. No information given on any adjustments due to
not a true sample(as in a sugar roll), other than the sample being 200
bees. I have not tested due to failure to get mine back from beekeeper
who was supposed to review.
