Long ago, that was enough for me.

I was taught about the stain problem but never cared about comb honey.
However there were other reasons given, the most often one that the bees
will start the lower super earlier as they finish off the top supers.

Nice to know I am vindicated for my laziness/allergy to heavy lifting.
