Right on Allen. Fantastic, simplistic allegory of one examining one's life meaning. Beekeeping has that for me. I never get bored with the bees and find beekeeping a life-long quest with more questions than answers at times. 

I was heavily influence by Joseph Campbell's writing's on mythology and the pursuit of happiness. He coined the phrase, "follow your bliss"

Karlos C. was right about the altered states obtainable with psilocybin and peyote. A small amount won't hurt a thing ;-)
