I have always preferred the Chinese grafting tool with the bamboo
plunger. This year I have been grafting at least once per week since
end of February. I have found that it is not uncommon to get 100%
acceptance and no need to prime the cell cups. Of course I try to do my
grafting in the morning before it gets hot.
