Thanks, Bill.  This is why I didn't want to get sidetracked by the GW debate
(although in Calif the warming trend over the past 30 years that I've lived
in one area is too great to ignore--and has changed my bee management
substantially).

As far as the advocacy groups of the research that I was citing, they were
published in California Agriculture, by UC Davis.  The researchers are
agricultural plant scientists, as far as I know not associated with any
advocacy groups other than plant agriculture.
