Failed to read carefully, I saw heating frames and mind went on auto-pilot.  Zach heated frames for varroa control. 

We discovered years ago that inside hive temperatures usually spike for 10-20 minutes when a swarm leaves a hive.  We've speculated that it might have some usefulness for varroa control.  What it would do to drones and drone sperm viability - I've no idea.
