I have for several years stored extracted supers wet (not robbed out
by the bees) in stacks, covered top and bottom, and dosed with
paradichlorobenzene. Many of these supers have had brood in them.

Stories about extracted supers being stored so that light discourages
wax moths intrigue me.

If supers were stored covered top and bottom with a queen excluder to
deter mice and if the stack of supers were stored in an open-front shed
outdoors (not in the dark),
how many shallow supers in a stack (before the middle of the
stack is dark enough for
               moths to work)?

      Has anyone tried this?
