Apiculture Positions in Latin America

Dear Readers of Bee-L,
 
Peace Corps is seeking to place 9 individuals in apiculture
projects in South America for next summer 1996.
 
Requirements are as follows:
 
A.  Two years of full time beekeeping experience; or
 
B.  Associates of Science in Beekeeping; or
 
C.  BA or BS in Biology with an expressed interest
                        in beekeeping.
 
Ideally applicants will have some background in
the Spanish language.  Fluency is not required.  Peace
Corps looks for a minimum of two semesters of college
level Spanish or two years of high school Spanish.
Language study should have been completed within
the last ten years.
 
Peace Corps positions are for two years exclusive of
the in-country training program.
