Pete is certainly entitled to his opinion and has produced studies indicating problems concerning controlling N.C. with fumigillin.

However the big picture as presented by Medhat and those commercial beekeepers purchasing the product seem to trump the naysayers.

The subject is not black or white.

Beekeepers asked for a new product for years and the research money was available in 2007.

An independent person should have oversaw the direction CCD funding was spent instead of handing the money over those
Wanting research funding to split up.

Both national beekeeping organizations asked for several concerns addresed.

One was research on a new control for nosema cerana(NC).

 couple others were legal use of oxalic acid and formic acid as used in Canada.
