Very true. Ameliorating factors may include painting hives distinctive  
colours; using bees attuned to this style of living; and using hives that can be  
accessed with less public disruption.
 
Or in other words: if you are using package-derived bees in identical  
Langstroths placed cheek by jowl you are asking for trouble.
