Also as Chris pointed out it seems 5.7mm is common now in UK for worker size and quite different from 1800s sizing wise. This is what makes for the problems in drawing uniform naturally sized comb in UK as bees can only shift size .2mm to .3mm maximum each time and then to uniformly get whole area doing same takes much time, and that if all going for worker size and not standard honeysuper size that then ends up in the broodnest.
 
Until spheres of influence for natural size combs are wanted again, basically it will not happen until someone actually wants to do it and gets others in a general area doing same. This is the way things got bigger and is way it will have to go down as history must be repeated, unfortunately!
