The Michael Simone-Finstroma paper just released, Gamma irradiation inactivates honey bee fungal, microsporidian, and viral
pathogens and parasites, used "irradiated stock solutions were exposed to 25 kGy of gamma irradiation delivered over
9 h 45 min, which is a standard dose used for sanitization purposes" These were not whole hive irradiations.

My Q is on ozonation which has a DYI tinkering element directed toward the sanitization. The Megan Colwell and similar presentations don't mention ozone generators as a more accessible alternative to irradiation. Is this because of an unsuitability or just an omission at this stage of research?
