I believe that Hawaii has outdone itself.

Hawaii House Bill HB1280 would ammend Chapter 145 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes to read:


"Any person engaged in the business of growing or producing any edible farm produce shall be a food safety certified farm prior to joining any agricultural organization within the State."

Agricultural organization means any association, organization, or cooperative, whether for-profit or nonprofit, that accepts membership from producers.


Someone's smoking some pakalolo in this state!
