Hi Herb,
     There is an article about 17 year old Carol Fassbinder in the March
American Bee Journal "Her discovery uses compounds from the perilla plant".
"Perillyl acetate killed the mite very quickly, very quickly and it's not
toxic," Fassbinder said."  Her Father is an Iowa commercial Beekeeper.
