Purple Loosestrife produces a honey with a greenish
tinge. In the cell the light refracts/reflects? to provide
a very green color.

Extracted its produces a typical looking honey
except when sun light reflects of the jar there is a
motor oil like greenish tinge.

Loosestrife honey is often refered to as
"motor oil honey" for this reason.

Note: the pollen of loosestrife is also green.
