To prevent stings, take juice of wild mallows, oil, meal of parched fenugreek; rub your face and the naked parts of your body strenuously, and, having swallowed some of it, breathe into the hive three or four times — a recipe to which one might aptly apply the remark that it is better to believe the report than try the experiment.
