"Alfalfa and clovers require insect pollination to produce seed, and then
forage.
Dave"
Grant said
"we'll starve without the bees is over-hyped."

Grant though perennial, alfalfa and clover have a life span, and in clover
it is short. Without pollinators there is very little seed, and without
seed there are not any legume forages. The beef and dairy industries could
survive on grass forage, but production would be greatly reduced. I do not
understand why beef and dairy would not be considered dependent on
pollinators.
