Thanks Dave,
You answered my question!  I don't use excluders because by the time I have
the time to pull honey, the queen has moved down and the supers are just
honey with the occasional cell of pollen, but I hear over and over that bees
won't go through excluders into supers so there must be a reason.

You said the excluder spaces have been increased, but enough to give the
BBB(Bigger Better Bee) easy access without allowing the queen through-if
that is the goal.
