As bees eat honey/ sugar from winter stores they produce moisture

Honey sugars: C6 H12 O6, when digested with the help of atmospheric oxygen,
break down to CO2 (carbon dioxide) and H2O (water) with the release of
energy (warmth). Honey is the equivalent of 'hard tack' for the bees and they
need to dilute it for use, in some cases, ivy honey for example, they need
to liquify the crystals.

Do they use the water that is already within their digestive system for
this purpose or do they need to use condensation or even leave the hive to
fetch water?
