My understanding is that he was using combs from colonies that had died out
(from AFB) to make splits.
He had hives within about 4-6 miles of mine, so I was very relieved that it
was found.  All credit to our National Bee Unit - they extend the contracts
for the Seasonal Bee Inspectors and did a very good job of cleaning it all
up.  As far as I know, there has been no recurrence.
