Bob, this has nothing to do with opinion.  There are too many folk
parroting myths--one can easily check the actual facts of the matter!
The time period to which you refer occurred AFTER the product had been
legally registered.  After registration, EPA decided that it would prefer a
"better" study to correct some possible deficiencies in one of the original
34 supportive studies.

Bayer has indeed lagged on doing this study, but this was well after legal
registration.  The odd thing is that the requested study is, in essence,
already repeated every year on very large scale on the prairies of Canada,
in which thousands of hives are placed on treated canola year after year.
 EPA simply wants Bayer to do a tiny study on canola--which seems like a
waste of money to me.

I'd prefer to see a study done on corn instead.
