spraying light syrup on top bars or even the just gathered nectar from a
frame on top bars, is an old trick over here to improve honey collection.

Oldies here said that bees are obligued to clean that up and fill their
engines ... well they said it in a more dirty way that Allen won`t let pass
the mail ;)
