Of course, both and buyer and seller want to get the best
price each can. Seller wants to sell high, buyer wants to
buy low. Given that there is little volume in honey
extracting equipment and factoring in inflation, extraction
equipment tends to hold it's value. I bought a Maxant 10/20
extractor, used it for 4 years and sold it for what I paid
for it. I got 4 years free use on an extractor, the buyer
got a great deal compared to the current price of a new
model. Wear and tear on the extractor was minimal.

Call the dealer and price the models new. Offering half or
less (as Mike suggested) is fishing for a REAL bargain. Were
I the seller I'd refuse half or less of current selling price.
