My thought is that the first of the winter bees start development 6 
weeks prior to the first frost - My logic being 21 days for development, 
and 21 days until the bees start foraging.  Is this right?  This year my 
predicted date for the first frost locally has come and gone, without 
temperatures lower than the 40s.
