Which leads to the next question: why does the connection between BV and arthritis have such a long and deep seated history? Is it a form of psychological remedy, a very powerful placebo?

Simple, Mary mentioned it, It raises the tolerance for pain. Should that help some and they discuss it, then others are convinced. Just because it’s a Pain tolerance or even a placebo effect does not mean it didn’t work. It means simple we help symptoms. For those who only get stung occasionally the effects may seem more dramatic than for us conditioned beeks.
