I don't think you are wrong at all. That's what this topic is about, why you think, or feel, people should care about bees, beekeeping and the environment. 

But always bringing it back to people makes it seem as if everything is about us. Nothing wrong with that, I guess, but I was looking for ideas beyond self-interest.
