How often do we read that phrase or one similar?  It would be great if 
our bees were being no worse than decimated!  Losing 1 in 10 colonies 
(the meaning of being decimated in this context) is something we have 
all been used to and can cope with. Even being tri-decimated (losing 
3/10) is not unusual and we and the bees get over it.  So why all the 
fuss?
