Only a problem if you dip at too low a temperature (this just coats the 
boxes with wax).

You need around 310F - rather like frying, you get a blue haze over the wax. 
At this temperature, the boxes drain quickly, the wax is sucked into the 
wood and when cool they are dry; in fact they look much like undipped 
boxes - except that they repel water.
