Sometimes it pays to not trust your memory and go back to the original
document.

In Experiment 1, treatment colonies were fed a sugar syrup diet

The sugar syrup is just oregano oil and the protein supplement was with
Thymol in sugar syrup added.

So, as usual, Randy is right in staying with the Oregano EO to be accurate.
Thymol in sugar syrup was not trialed in the study, except as an additive to
the protein supplement.

Also, as Oregano oil has both, it is probably the syrup of choice.
