Subject: API-WEEKEND!

API-WEEKEND

"Tracheal and Varroa mites have decimated bees in New England. American
Foulbrood disease is on the increase as dead hives are being robbed.
However, with timely measures, beekeepers can control these pests and
SAVE THE BEES!

In order to orient beekeepers to the latest methods, Charles Andros,
former NH+VT Apiary Inspector, will hold a workshop from 1-3:30 PM on
Saturday, July 25, at the Paul Harlow Farm on Route 5 in North
Westminster, VT, 1/2 mile north of the I-91 Exit 5 ramp. Look for the
"BEE" sign. Topics of discussion: taking off and processing honey and
wax, treatment of mites and foulbrood, wintering nuclei, queen
evaluation, and making propolis tincture. Bring a veil, if you have
one, as we shall be opening some colonies. The cost is $20 per person,
kids free. Pre-registration is required. Email: [log in to unmask]
Phone: 603-756-9056."

"You have probably heard of the use of bee venom for arthritis and
multiple sclerosis. In Romania, all of the bee products are used for a
multitude of diseases and conditions, and to promote health and beauty,
with excellent results.

On Saturday, July 26, from 1-4 PM, internationally-renowned apitherapist
Dr. Stefan Stangaciu, MD, L.Ac., from Constanta, ROMANIA, will present a
seminar on use of bee products and other natural products for treating
the above diseases plus cancer, cardiovascular, liver, pulmonary,
stomach, and kidney diseases, etc.

Charles Andros, local producer of honey, pollen, propolis, bees, and
beeswax, will explain some of the uses of bee products for health and
beauty. Then you will know why beekeepers have the second-longest life
expectancy, after orchestral conductors!

After 4 PM, Stefan will attend those desiring apitherapy counseling
those who are prepared with their current medical analysis related to
their disease(s) and a list with their symptoms and/or complaints.
After the counseling, the clients will receive from Stefan an
api-phytotherapy "prescription" and other advice related to their diet,
etc. Donations will be gratefully accepted for this non-medical advice.

The seminar will be held at The Orchard School on Old Settlers Road off
Route 123 in East Alstead, NH, 03602. The cost is $40 per person.
Pre-registration is required. Email Charles Andros at [log in to unmask],
or call 603-756-9056."
