Hi!
We have been following the mailing list for a couple of weeks, hoping to
gain knowlege on beekeeping. We have learned quite a bit from all the
messages coming and going. But, the most exciting and terrifing is the
mites and other nasties that attack bees. After reading these messages for
a while we had second thoughts about beekeeping. Although we had already
ordered the bees. Kind-of scarry.

Just a short not to say we are new to beekeeping. Our first two hives
arived home today. Guess the bees know what they are doing. They seem to
be coming home with their pockests full. Hope we managed to put the boxes
together right. We will stay tuned and learn as much as we can. One of the
questions I have: what or how do you make candles from the wax(if any)?
Thank and keep informing us.
