L.S.,

I thought I was up to date on bee physiology and secretions but on a body building website I came across a study that finds drone milk to have hormone related effects in rats. Searching around I find scanty info on the use of drone milk in traditional medicin but nothing more.

Drone milk?

I do not believe drone milk excists in the sense that it is different from royal jelly. Maybe it is fed to drones in a different ratio of solid to liquid than it is to queens. Or is it a different secretion?

Does anyone have any sound knowledge on this?
