Mike,

Can you provide a phone number or website address for AE Stanley Co? I just did a google search and only came up with a newsline that they have agreed to $100 million settlement in a price-fixing law suite...

I'd like to compare the cost of feeding the hives sugar vs. HFCS. It might be even worthwhile to place an order with several local beekeepers.

Thank you.

Waldemar

I feed High Fructose Corn Syrup, from AE Staley Co. in Decatur,
Illinois. It comes pre-mixed, and 11.55 lbs/gal...almost the weight of honey.
You say the bees need 75 pounds of stores to winter. A two story
colony with bees...without cover...weighs 70 pounds.
