John Harbo will have an article in an upcoming Bee Culture edition
explaining the mechinism involved, the research that found it, plus the
results of his continuing research with it. Coupled with Russian stock
entering the system, queen producers should soon have tools needed to
produce queens that show some, if not complete resistance to varroa. They
had better be watching both of these events.
