I, too have huge amounts of honey left over in deep frames, mostly from
colonies that didn't survive the winter (42% this year).  What I do is
just give it back to the bees when making splits, etc., and if they
don't need it they just throw it out.  There's nothing else I can do
with it anyway, and the bees are the experts at cleaning out their own
frames.
