I think this paper clarifies a bit the way trophallaxy works inside a hive,
and is more close to what the "Lion" Detchon describes, a very orginced
chain of production.

Nevertheless, after the second super I displace the third one so as to have
a top entrance.

I did compare with and without the top entrance and by memory we collected
some 15% more honey. Now is a standard proceduce in our operation.

About robbing we never have that problem cause we do the top entrance to all
the hive in a yard. When it is a windy yard, bees propolice this top
entrance and end up reducing it to what they need. They never close it
completelly, which indicates me that they want it open.

We do use queen excluder after the first box (single brood chamber).
