I can see how careless(?) language may cause confusion in the beekeeping community when it comes to certain pathogens, their clinical manifestations and treatment. Fumagillin-B is used to treat or prevent nosema disease which is caused by the microsporidian fungus Nosema spp. However, the BEE HEALTH app available through the Government of Alberta says "Fumagillin is the only registered effective antibiotic treatment for nosema..." Antibiotic??? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ca.ab.gov.beehealth&hl=en
