Amen to that. Us forum lurkers and backyard beekeepers would rather keep  
on reading the experts' debates and silently go "Hm, I didn't know that. I  
better take another look at what I'm doing/seeing in my colonies, etc."

Case in point on a recent change of my mind: how much smoke is enough? At  
a recent NY Bee Wellness workshop Randy kept pointing out to check if the  
guard bees are looking at you. If not, proceed, no need for smoke. I  
thought I was gentle with the smoke, until Aaron told me to go easy on it.  
Now I know what's the precise definition of "enough smoke" is when the  
Bee-L moderator is looking, :-)
