I live in North Alabama and when I mention how some hives just explode, I
had one hive with 6 honey supers and the 3 hives next to it only made 2
boxes each of honey. I have had this happen in several of my yards. I check
my rhives on a very regulat basis, once or twice a week during spring and
summer trying to stay a step or 2 ahead of the girls. I will look up the
archives and see what I can glean about the excluders.
Thanks
