I registered for a free trial and ran it for a while, seated comfortably inside, just talking as one might do in the bee yard. Assuming the mic on my iPhone is sensitive enough under field conditions, it seems interesting with some potential to be a good assistant note taker. It keys off phrases like "action item" or "take a note" and then listens and records. When you're finished everything is separated in lists for your convenience.  I don't know how it will work in the field but it's worth a try- beats a wet notebook.
