Just tossing in my 2 cents.

I read and post both Bee-L and Beesource without any problems.  They are apples and oranges and attract different crowds and lurkers.  I don't see any competition and I approach them with different mindsets.  I've looked at a couple of the other lists and didn't find the diversity of opinion which the larger audiences provides...even if I don't see it eye-to-eye.

There should be some places for the uninformed and ignorant (in the best sense of that word) to ask the questions that need to be asked (over, and over, and over).  Thank goodness for the archives.  If only people would use them.

I am also an avid reader.  I believe it was Mark Twain who said, "The average person reads one book a year...that's why they're average."

Some cold days I'll stoke the wood stove and read through a stack of my old bee mags.  I've got about 40 years worth.  Funny how re-reading those articles gets the creative juices going.  Perhaps it's senility, but they're better the second and third time around.
