Hi Allen,

I am not sure this mail is to others, other than Dean.

Limestone County Beekeepers Association is sponsoring a North Alabama Beekeeping Symposium August 13, 2011 at Calhoun  Community College in Tanner, AL. 
Dr. Jim Tew, Ohio State University and Auburn University and Jerry Hayes, Florida Dept. of Agriculture, who has The Classroom in American Bee Journal, will be the highlight speakers. Philip Garrison, President of Alabama State Beekeepers Association, and his brother Jim Garrison, President of the Tennessee State Beekeepers Association, will be speaking also. Several of Dr. Tew’s speakers from the Auburn Symposium in February will be speaking. We have several North Alabama beekeepers that will be speaking also. Please register since seating is limited to 193 people. Registration deadline is August 1, 2011. Registration fee is $20.00 per person.         Sign in will start about 8:00 AM and classes will end about 3:45 PM. An open hive, (about 20 hives), will follow the meeting, weather permitting.
