Thanks for the link Bill. It looks like an improvement on the ones I copied from Better Bee (I think). I did increase the center hole diameter to 3" and increased the depth to 2" on the escape side. Makes a big difference by giving the bees space especially when pulling the last batch going down to the brood boxes. I have never stayed around to see how fast they exit but 2 and sometimes 3 mediums are essentially empty overnight. I have 50 now and at 72 probably not going to make more but if I were I would try Dave's plan.
