Hello Everyone,

Whew! And I though the last monthly update came fast!

Anyway, this last mite count ended on 8/18/02. Was about the same as the
month before with the highest natural mite fall per hive at 3 mites per
week. The lowest natural mite fall was 0 mites and the average mite fall
was 1 mite per hive per week over a 3 week period.

By this time last year I was observing quite a lot of bald headed brood
which are signs of mite cleansing going on. I haven't seen any so far.

Best Wishes
Dennis
