One of my queens lays few eggs. She keeps them in a tight brood pattern,
but barely expands it. As a result, there are few bees which, at this
time of year, has me alarmed.

The queen came from a new package about 2 months ago. She laid normally
until I stole a frame of eggs to give to a queenless colony (see my
other message entitled "multi-egg cells"). Since then, she (to use
a bit of anthropomorphism) seems afraid of laying too many eggs.

What happened to her?
