I thought pollen sub needed to be fed in the hive.

T'Lee Sollenberger wrote an article about open feeding of pollen substitute in ABJ a while back.  She described and had pictures of a 6" PVC pipe feeder she had devised which kept inclimate weather from ruining the loose pollen within the tube.
