I know that know one asked, but I will stick in my 2 cents worth anyway. I also do not believe the individual beekeeper needs to have any type of certification. But by the same token I do think that the people that are overseeing the beekeepers should. Namely the state inspectors. I don’t mind having them come and check my hives, but I want to know that the have the competence to do so. ND IF I ask them a question I want to know that I am going to get a straight answer from someone that has the correct information.
