My son's just back from Eritrea (on the western side of the Red Sea, opposite Yemen and adjacent Ethiopia and Sudan) where he met a 90+ year old beekeeper. I get the impression that beekeepers tend to live longer than average, my first 2 mentors, Arthur Worth and Roy Page, having lived to 93 and 96, still with a hive or two.

Are there any statistics on the subject?

Chris
