I suspect you have considered this  already but if not, there are a boatlaod of queen breeders/growers in Ontario that will have taken part in the Ontario Beekeepers Association testing and selection programs or that are quite savvy in their own right. Even if you are wanting to develop your own stock for the T'bay climate, it would be a good start. Just wondering, has varroa arrived there yet? Always a risk obviouly when bringing queens in
